Transcriptional adaption of neutrophil to inflammation
Neutrophils are recognized as a key modulator and regulator in host immune defense against invading pathogens as well as autoimmune disease development. Based on in vivo modesl of inflammation, we have identified a number of transcription factors(TFs) that may control neutrophil functions during early inflammation in vivo. Our research focuses on the molecular mechanisms governing neutrophil activation and function, which are largely overlooked in the past.
